Why is a gorilla considered a gentle animal?

A. When they were first found, they were thought of as being savage beasts that eat meat. We have since learned that they are peaceful vegetarians that live in family groups. Granted, adult male gorillas do engage in combat for dominance and possession of a group of females, and male gorillas are known to commit infanticide when they have usurped the rule of a reigning silverback male, a behavior also found in male tigers, gorillas nevertheless do not kill other animals for food, unlike their close relatives the chimpanzees, and they do not kill humans except in self defense. So they are considered gentle animals by those who know them. However, they are powerful animals that are fully capable of killing adult humans.

Can a man knock out a gorilla using only hand to hand combat?
Q. I was just wondering if a man, of any reasonable size, would be able to knock out a gorilla I know for example that taekwondo (sp?) practitioners can put ~alot~ of force behind their kicks. Could this be enough to knock out a gorilla?

A. Zoology is basically biology so you will need good passes in the sciences, maths and english at GCSE. But really it is A-levels that are important. For this you will need to do biology to get in to a zoology degree at Uni. That is essential. Other than that, they like the subjects that make you look smart :) Like the chemistry, maths, languages ect. Chemistry would be great at A level if you can do it (it's hard!), as Zoology has ALOT of chemistry in it, and maths, and ICT! If you don't do chemistry for A level you will do a course in it at the start of your degree. How do I remove Gorilla Tape residue from my car's exterior? Is this possible to do without damaging paint?

A. I have two ideas. You can simply use a huge stuffed animal gorilla and cut the head of it off and use that or you can get onto the more fun side. Get a big balloon and blow it up to a size that will fit your head. Cover it will shreded newspaper and let it dry for 3 days straight. Then pop the balloon on the inside and then cut a hole on the bottem big enough for your head to go through. Then you have paint a gorilla face on it. I am going fast without detail because of thunderstorm so...good luck!

It won't work well for this project. go to the hobby shop and buy some acrylic hobby glue (gold bottle with white lettering). Called Aleen's Tacky Glue. super clue can work. It is not the best choice- the bond is not stable with water. It also leaves white residue all over the place from the reaction products inside (inhibited by O2, accelerated with alcohol).

A. The larger 'junks' you should scrape or chip off using either a chisel or very stiff putty knife. Use a hammer and tap the tool to remove them. When you get down to just the residue holding on the concrete, get some "caulk and foam sealant remover" from Lowe's or Home depot. Follow the instructions and it will remove the remnants.
