The Eastern Gorilla (Gorilla beringei) is a species of the genus Gorilla and the largest living primate. At present, the species is subdivided into two subspecies. The Eastern Lowland Gorilla (G. b. graueri) is the most populous, at about 5,000 individuals. The Mountain Gorilla (G. b. beringei) has only about 700 individuals. In addition, scientists are considering elevating the Bwindi gorilla population (which numbers about half of the Mountain Gorilla population) to the rank of subspecies. From Wikipedia under the

Q. lately i've been seeing and hearing a lot about racial issues. It started to make me think about us, our species. I personally believe that race is non existent. I feel that our cultural denominations black, white, asian, etc. are just social identities that we allow ourselves to assimilate to. if you think about it race is a human concept, no other species on the planet has any notion of the word. Oddly enough race is just another word for sub group or sub species. Think about all the animals that have different sub groups. A prime example would be Gorillas. You have The Mountain Gorilla, The Eastern Lowland Gorilla, and Western Lowland Gorilla. Each sub group with its own distinct features light fur color, height, and facial features.… [cont.] Asked by nivck - Mon Jul 6 01:32:56 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. I would the whole idea silly since I believe you should not even look at such things Answered by unknown - Mon Jul 6 03:23:01 2009 Name as many animals you can you can say the same ones as i did?
